Here she is my new baby All hand made for me by a guy called Rich from Newforest Bushcraft, it's 220mm long it's 4mm thick
it's a full tang with a Padauk wood handle it also has a really deep grind it comes with a fire stick and a 5mm thick handmade leather sheath it has a really nice balance and holds well in the hand it's a carbon steel blade, and wow! is it sharp! and just to keep it that way along with my other knives i have also just bought a set of Japanese Waterstones complete with the all important Nagura stone and a grip to hold them
Looks like a nice, has it had any use yet, the blade looks like it has a nice edge on it
I'm hoping to tonight mate i'll let you know
I bought a new one the other day, and when I can to use it I was a bit disappointed as the blade was not really sharp enough and it took some doing get through the skin, I suppose I will need to get the stone out and spend the evening rubbing the blade
Is that what you crazy kids are calling it these days (rubbing the blade all evening!!!)
