There has been some good news recently for the Red squirrel population in Formby (near Merseyside). According to the Red Squirrel Survival Trust (RSST) Merseyside has seen good signs for an increase in the numbers of the troubled squirrel, and are hoping for a good breeding season.

There have been some strange goings on in the land down under. In the past two weeks some nine Fairy penguins have been mysteriously killed and there bodies mutilated in a national park near Sydney harbour.It is suspected that the culprits are dogs or foxes, which these little 40cm tall penguins would be no match for.

When I got up on Saturday morning, I thought the weather looked nice. So I had decided to give the long range shooting another try. Instead of shooting at a paper target, I thought something a bit more visual was in order, so settled upon a small metal spinner. This worked out at just about an inch of target to go for. I was hoping to be able to do a sequence of hitting it five in a row, giving me almost a 5 shot group of an inch.

Well seeing as I am not very good with my hands in the creative sense, but I am good with engineering and building stuff. I have decided to create a stock duplicator, this will allow me to copy my MFR stock in some cheap wood
